Candlemas marks the end of the Church’s Christmas season.
Come and join us as we mark the Presentation of Christ in the Temple. Come as a family to join Mary, Joseph and the infant Jesus.
Why Candlemas? Traditionally this was the day on which the year’s supply of candles were blessed. When Simeon saw Jesus he proclaimed that he would be “A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of your people Israel.”
