PRAY FOR LANCASHIRE 48 Hours of Prayer 19 – 21 Jan 2024

Dear Friends,
As we start a new year we would love to call you to pray for Lancashire!
We believe in the power of prayer and the power of coming together as a community of
Christians across Lancashire.
From the 19th January at 9pm we plan to have 48 hours of non-stop prayer that will culminate with Worship & Prayer Celebration at Life Church Lancashire on the 21st January from 7.30pm9pm.
We’ve created an online prayer room for people to sign up for one hour prayer slots. We’d love you to share this with your Church communities as we cover these 48 hours in prayer. You could open your Church buildings, encourage people to prayer walk or pray in their homes. The one hour prayer slot could be divided into three 20 minute sections;
Pray for your family, your Church, your community, your street, your place of work
Pray for another part of Lancashire with the prayer points that we’ll supply
Pray for the whole of Lancashire, believing God’s best for Lancashire and also listening to
what God might be saying over Lancashire To help other Christians pray for you and your Church community or organisation we’d ask you to send in prayer requests that we can share with others. So here’s how you can get involved;
1. Invite your Church communities to participate (see attached artwork for use in email
newsletters, screens and social media).
2. Encourage people to sign up to the online prayer room: www.bit.ly/Pray4Lancs
3. Send your Church prayer requests to petebaker@lifelancs.org for us to share
4. Share any prayer resources and prayer points via social media and with your community
5. Join us for the Worship and Prayer Celebration, Sunday 21st January, 7.30pm – 9pm, Life Church Lancashire
Bless you greatly,
Let’s get praying!
