Celebrations at St. Mary Magdalene’s
Sunday morning May 7th 10am: Special service of Holy Communion to mark the Coronation. The service has been prepared by the Church of England with readings and prayers chosen for this historic occasion. The choir will sing the anthem “Zadok the Priest” by George Frederick Handel – a coronation tradition since the eighteenth century.
There will be a souvenir Order of Service which you are invited to take home with you.
Flowers for the King and Queen
Our Flower Arrangers have planned Coronation decorations for the church on a Royal theme. Come and see them at any time during the weekend.
