On Tuesday we are very pleased to welcome Karen Au to St. Mary’s to give October’s lunchtime organ recital.
Karen was born in Hong Kong in 1990. She started learning the piano at an early age and later also learned the violin and the organ.
She continued to play the organ whilst at university holding an organ scholarship at Cambridge University and became organ scholar at Blackburn cathedral in 2013.
Since then she has continued to play locally as a church organist and for various local choral societies, for choirs undertaking cathedral visits and concerts and also giving organ recitals. Karen is an Associate of the Royal College of Organists.
