Travelling with Mary and Joseph to Bethlehem

From December 1st until Christmas Eve join Mary and Joseph on their journey to Bethlehem. Place their figures in your window with a poster and send us a photo. It would be great if we had enough photos to put a different one on the home page of the website each day.

You can use figures from a Christmas crib which you already have, or make your own. You can download instructions here Making your own Mary and Joseph figures

A4 posters for printing can be downloaded here A4 poster

A5 posters for printing can be downloaded here A5 poster

For those who cannot print the posters, they will be available from Nov 20th in folders pinned to the notice board in Church Street, and from church when it is open for private prayer on a Wednesday.

A5 posters will be inserted in the December Christmas edition of the Parish Magazine.

A poster to colour in is also available to print  here A4 poster for colouring

These posters will also be available from the notice board in church street and from church on Wednesdays

Take a photo of the Mary and Joseph figures in your window with the poster and send it to patricialduxbury@yahoo.co.uk. We’ll take it that if you send a picture you are giving permission for us to use it on the church website and the Parish Magazine.

You may like to give the photo a title such as “Mary and Joseph at the Johnsons’ home” or, “Mary and Joseph in Chatburn Road” or, “Peter and Jane are sharing Mary and Joseph’s journey”. You can probably be much more inventive!

You may like to download an Advent Prayer to use when you set up your figures
