Thy Kingdom Come

Join the World Wide Wave of Prayer

Ascension Day May 26th to Pentecost – Whit Sunday –  June 5th

What’s On

With Christians from over 150 countries all over the world, pray “Thy Kingdom Come” so that friends and family, neighbours and colleagues might come to faith in Jesus Christ.

How to join in

Pray for 5

Use your five buttons from last year; or take one of the packets of buttons from the basket at the back of church; or one of the small prayer cards also on the table. Use them as a reminder to pray for five people from your family and friends.

Use the Prayer Journal or the Novena

(Novena  = prayers for the nine days from Ascension to Pentecost). You can download the 2022 version to your tablet or phone using the easy-to-follow help printed on page 10 of the May Parish Magazine. For those who cannot do this there are some copies of last year’s booklets available and also a few copies of this year’s editions.

Pray out of doors

using the prayer suggestions on the boards in the church garden. The prayers are based on the celebration of our 900th anniversary.
