The Chatburn Music Events prove to be popular, and a valuable opportunity for the community to come together.
Ribble Valley Music Festival 2017 Launch Concert
An international flavour launches the 2017 Ribble Valley Music Festival with a trip “Around the World in 80 Minutes” on 3rd March at Christ Church Chatburn.
In-flight entertainment will be provided by Championship Section Wingates Band led by their Captain, Musical Director Paul Andrews. Travel documents will include an itinerary of the countries we shall visit on this musical journey. The flight departs at 8.00pm and access to Christ Church Chatburn can only be after 7.30pm to allow for flight preparation
Boarding passes will be available from 1st February at Roy Porter Butchers in Chatburn, or travel agent hotline 01254 384893. They are £10 and include in-flight refreshments
It costs around £500 a week to keep the church open, and a further amount is needed for the upgrade of facilities. The clergy and PCC are grateful for support by attendance at the music events and for the additional donations towards the upkeep and development of the church.
